Putting these fantastic swim trunks up for sale because they are one size too big for me. The shorts are in perfect condition and have a coin pocket with original button. The liner has no holes and is perfectly intact. The waistband has plenty of elasticity and is 14 inches unstretched, 19 inches stretched. These would easily fit anyone with a 34-38 inch waist. I have a 33" inch waist and they fit me, but seemed a little big for my frame. The pattern has maraccas, guitars, pineapples and flowers. A really fantastic pair of shorts.
I contacted Jantzen themselves to get exact specs of them, and their head of archives got back to me with this info:
"Thank you for contacting Jantzen concerning your vintage trunks. They are absolutely wonderful and were part of our Sunclothes Collection that was produced in 1947. They were called “Beach Boy” and retailed for $4.50. They were made of Oxford cloth and featured a buttoned coin pocket. We have a pair in the Archives in another color combination.
Sixty two years later they appear to be in excellent condition.

Any honest offers will be considered, as I have no idea of their true worth.
