1945-1955 models with 2 1/4" brim?

Did any major company produce a standard model with a 2 1/4" brim width during the late forties/early fifties? An archive search hasn't turned anything up.

If yes, feel free to post pics if you have them.

Joel, I don't have any specific examples of what you are asking but from catalogues and especially from custom makers I have no doubts they were made, just not in quantity. Like suits, etc, hats were always made at the direction of the client unless he was OK with current trends. I'd also like to see some examples..anyone out there own one??

I have a resistol porkpie from 1948 with a 2-1/8 inch brim.
Also a fedora that has almost the exact dimensions, and samd kind of markings, so I assume it's from a similar time. Dimensionwise, it has a pretty short brim, but it doesn' look as stingy, because unlike late '50s and '60s stingies, it doesn't have a huge brim curl.
I have an early '50s Champ with a 2-1/4 brim as well.
