I started a bunch of hat auctions on ebay today, including a 1940's Portis Sterling Open Road style, a 1950's Penney's Marathon OR-style, a couple of Cavanaghs, a nice Dobbs Gamebird, and some others of various ilk:

I also have two 1940's Stetsons (7 1/8 and 7 1/4) for trade. The 7 1/8 is GORGEOUS and minty, but a hair small, and I'm not going to damage by stretching. The other fits me, but looks dopey. I would rather trade for hats of similar value, only because I hate pricing hats here at more than I paid, and I got ridiculous deals on these.
Here's where I posted regarding the 7 1/4. It has a shorter brim, and needs a good brushing/cleaning, but is plush:

Here's the 7 1/8 that is in pristine condition. It's a big 7 1/8, but not a 7 1/4. It's a little more of a taupe color than the pics show.
