It's named to a Dr. T. Kihara. That's a Japanese surname - can't have been many Japanese doctors in 1933 Chicago.

It has several specs of early '30s suits from what I can see. The narrow lapels with high and close together button stance especially. It also shares 2 details similar details to a 1933 dated suit jacket I own, the 2 gold letters above the interior pocket and 2 button cuffs. The pants are very conservative with their plain front.

I agree, it could be a 3 or an 8. I assume the seller's got the best view, though, so '33 is probably right.
