Unless it actually has a date carved into it, how can one actually tell how old a hat stretcher is? They all look practically the same.

Well, I know they all do the same thing, but I just don't understand how a person could be able to tell whether it's from the 20s, the 30s or the 40s. I wasn't sure if there was some science to dating hat stretches that I wasn't aware of.

Well, I know they all do the same thing, but I just don't understand how a person could be able to tell whether it's from the 20s, the 30s or the 40s. I wasn't sure if there was some science to dating hat stretches that I wasn't aware of. Either way, it looks like a nice one, and a bigger one too, to fit the sides of the hat, and not just the front and back.
