This is probably too far off topic but, Doc Savage had an adventure called "Red Snow" that took place in Miami in 1935.

And Wolf, that's not off topic at all, since my book's about a Doc Savage kinda guy based out of Miami. (And wouldn't you know that out of all the Doc books I have, that's one that I don't have... :eusa_doh: )

Hey BJonas, if you ever run into a mother lode of 1930s Miami photos that show off the Deco area, please let me know. Photos from that period are hard to find.

Don't forget the PanAm Flying Boat terminal at Dinner Key! Some nice shots on this page and here.

Edited to mention that after the Flying Boats were furloughed in favour of runways, the marine air terminal at Dinner Key became the city hall. ;)
