This splendid suit came to me from Fastuni. It doesn't quit fit me,
so I am selling it on.
A vintage suit with many nice features, including wide peak lapels, and extra wide trousers (11 inch hem) with side adjusters.
Originally with a double breasted jacket that was converted to single breasted. This was quite commonly done in the 1940s.
Sturdy cloth with diagonal weave, white ticking and blue stripes.
The size is about a 38-40 regular.
Please check the measurements below for a more accurate impression of the fit.
Generally the jacket should be 2-4 inches wider than your own chest.

- waist 20 inches (x2)
- shoulders 17.4 inches
- sleeve length from shoulder seam 25.3 inches with about 2.4 inches to let out
- length from bottom of collar to hem 29 inches.
- waist: 34 inches
- rise: 13.6 inches
- inseam: 32 inches (fully let out with French turn ups)
