Unusually for me (since I mostly take and interest in American vintage and 20s- 50s style) I've developed an interest in the shorts worn by the British and Australian military during the Second World War era.
I'm primarily interested for practical reasons- the waist adjusters look smart, but also seem more practical than wearing a belt. I'm intending to use them for riding a bike, walking and camping.
I've already purchased the below from Silvermans, which are pretty good, if a little shorter than I'm after (7" inside leg on a 34)
I'm also considering these

But I'm not sure about the quality, does anyone have any experience of them.
I'm also willing to consider other options, but maybe not full on Bombay Bloomers!
