well, the waistband lining / tape is patented 1926, but the suit looks 30s.

I just spent some time with the "Belted Back Suit Heaven" thread so I've seen some now. The only belted back jackets I've owned were two from the 30's, one from the 50's, and a couple from the 70's.

I haven't ever seen a belted back from the 20's.

here's one from 1922. the main differences between it and a 30s cut are the narrower less padded (or no padding at all ) shoulders, the higher waist, and longer straighter front:
