1920s/30s Newsboy Cap 7 or 7 1/8

I have too many caps, so I'm selling off most of them and only keeping a few of my favourites.

The first for sale is a beautiful 1920s or 1930s newsboy cap in light brown tweed with an orangey overcheck. It was made, as best I can make out the writing on the soiled crown liner, by Barbier Lamoureux of Willamsburg, Penna. in addition to the pomade on the crown liner, there is a small area of shattering to the purple satin crown liner, and a bit of grime around the rear where the tweed meets the sweatband. It's not so awful though. this will clean up grand.

The fit is somewhere between a 7 and 7 1/8. It's good on my 7 LO head, and caps are quite forgiving in terms of sweatband circumference. I think a size 7 1/8 could wear this without discomfort. I measure the circumference 3 times - 22", 22.5", an 22.5" giving the average as 22.167". The widest part of the crown (i.e. across the crown button) measures 11" side to side and 10.5" front to back.

I'd like $100 US for the hat. PM if you're interested and with any questions. Shipping will be extra, and to be determined by the buyers location. It will not be expensive to ship.
