Here is an excellent running, 16 Size, 19 Jewel, Lever Set, Ball Waltham Official Railroad Standard Pocket Watch adjusted to 5 positions. I've tested this watch now for several days, and I can tell you it keeps excellent time and runs for over 39 hours on a single wind. There is a faint hairline crack on the face and the plating on the case is a bit worn, but it still presents very nicely, and runs perfectly. Dates scratched on the inside of the case back suggest it was serviced in August 1940, and May 1948.

My guess is sometime in the 30s or 40s. From what I gather, this was a popular replacement case.
