10$ Horse 20$ Hat

[/URL][/IMG] There is a country called fly-over and we do wear 20$ hats. Striking a blow for something that does not blow off. Taken about a year ago before I had heard of the Fedora Lounge. You guys said you like pictures. Noticed several cars slowing down near the road, assumed they were looking at my wife!! By the way, the ears are my wifes horse. You cant get good help nowadays.

My daughters are BEGGING for a horse. Are those yours or rented?

DONT DO IT! I have my own pasture and barns, unless your in the same situation, their keep will equal college tuition. They are my horses. The hat is one of my 20.00 Stetsons (the horse is worth more than 10$). Nice fall picture that falls into the Autumnal Thoughts thread in another section. I am off to a vintage shop this week end I found. When I called the owner he said they had lots of older hats, looked thru the pile and started reeling off names like Dobbs, Stetson, Borsali....................I said how much for your old hats, he said they start at around 15.00 and go up to 25.00. I think I will pay him a visit.

The whole 9 yards

They want to move to a place with room for pasture and barns. I'm not a get-up-at-five-to-muck-stables kind of guy. So we've arranged for them to help a friend with horses with cleanups, etc.
Your picture really makes me ready for fall weather!!!

When I get back I'll fill everyone in (with news about anything that doesnt fit myself or JP). I imagine that everything they have will be too small or too big. It sounds too good to be true so............................ More news to follow.
