Of course Stetson went bankrupt and was eventually bought by Resistol / Hatco, and production moved to Texas. Does anyone know if anything whatsoever carried over with the purchase? Anything from methods and processes to machines or specific design etc. Or is modern Stetson merely a heritage...

Friendly employees. They will make you a new ribbon hatband, put a new feather in your hat, clean an old hat, and sell you a Dobbs, Knox, Stetson, Resistol, Wrangler, or Charlie 1 Horse for a third of the cost. It's hard to stay away.:):):)
