A few of you might remember when this came out a few years ago. Patterned loosely after the style of shirt worn by TR and the Rough Riders, the shirt I am selling is a size large.
The odd thing about this shirt is that it is cut extremely long in the body, so that it will best fit a man 6' or...
Print will never die. CDs took over the music industry, but people still want records, and can get them.
The message will always trump the medium. Is a tactile book more powerful to look at then a tablet or a reader? Of course. But I can tolerate the growing popularity of digital books as...
I received possibly the best compliment of my life from none other than John Larroquette a couple of nights ago, when I approached him to get my playbill signed after his performance in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." He was coming down the autograph line and saw me standing...
The hat was sold last night. Thank you all for your interest. I'll be taking this post down once the interested parties have had a chance to see this and I figure out how to remove a thread...

It's unreasonable to assume that new films about Sherlock Holmes will be treated with what most would call due reverence.
I have to say though, most of what Holmes says and does in the first film starring Robert Downey Jr. can be found verbatim in the stories and novels. The only difference is...
Bought used from Jimmy Pierce a few years ago, gently worn, but not often. Has a few moth marks (came with the hat), but it's a nice lid with some relaxed style to it. Goes well with a variety of jacket colors.
Size 7 3/8
Asking $55 for it, includes shipping costs within the US.
Even as a Christian (one that lives by the text of the Bible rather than the tired dogmas of various denominations), I have conflicting views on the subject of Christmas.
Christ himself never asked that we remember his birth. If you accept the Biblical record, Jesus was born for one purpose...
Murray Gold's "Doctor Who" soundtrack has been keeping me good company today. "The Impossible Planet" is one of my all-time favorite compositions from film or television.

Last year, I was sleeping on a rooftop in India, while celebratory rifle shots were fired into the air in the town below. I spent the rest of the week passing out Christmas presents to children in impoverished regions of the country. This year, I plan to spend it in much the same way. :)
Not a conventionally American tradition, but I'm a big fan of the warming comfort of Masala chai on a cold evening. Steeped in water and cream and spice with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg and some form of sweetener (I'm a stevia man myself), it's a glass of heaven every time.
I go to India once...
Yessir, this was me a year ago when I was in India. At the time, I forgot that my jacket was an accidental reminder of British imperialism...
And more recently, after some weight loss, sporting a classic British commando sweater as well. I seem to be drawn to British militaria, now that I...
