    Totally agree with Panda. I have also come to depend on heat to penetrate the hide. The best and safest way is to hang the jacket in a hot attic or inside a hot car (window slightly open). Make sure that if you hang inside a car the light does not hit the jacket directly.

    I would not think parts would stretch significantly. However, the best option I know for storing leather pants is rolling it into a small bundle.

    That fit looks so odd. I have never seen such a big fit on a military garment. Back in the day, no one will wear such a "baggy" jacket.
