I should probably have said snug under the arms and across the shoulders but these jackets are cut with high and slim arms.
However I wouldn’t want to have gone to a smaller size with this as I like a jacket to feel comfortable and any smaller and I would probably have felt a bit restricted in...
This Aero Leather Premier 30’s Half Belt made by Julie Leitch was delivered to me a couple of days ago and I like it very much.
It’s in CXL Horse Hide and despite being four years old and well broken in it still feels stiff as a board, but that is fine by me as I will mostly be wearing it on my...
No, these jackets come without a belt.
American police belts are available on the internet if you really want one, or a Russian Army Officer’s belt would also be an option.
I’m selling my Aero Leather C.H.I.P.S. size 36.
When I bought it used last year it still had that new leather smell and I have only worn it a couple of times since as it is too small for me.
It is absolutely faultless and is made from a fantastic heavy Steerhide which is now beginning to develop...
I’m selling this great Swedish leather half belt coat.
40’s-50’s?
Horsehide?
It’s in excellent condition although I believe the cuff straps may have been removed.
Double breasted with four exterior pockets and two interior.
Wool lining.
Storm collar.
Original metal buttons.
I believe it is a...
Well I wouldn’t want to wear this jacket on a hot day but I’m sure it would be fine for a cool evening.
I’ve only really worn my jacket while out on my Harley and it has been perfect for that so far.
I was wearing it on the bike a few weeks ago with a couple of layers underneath when it was 8...
Aye cheers, I think it looks the business.
And you’re right, the seller seems a good bloke and he’s been very helpful.
I’m hoping the fit will be right on me, I’m 5'7" with a 38" chest and I want a warm jacket with a bit of room for a layer or two underneath as I plan to wear this on my...
I’m probably slightly biased as I was born in Northumberland but the whole area and the Scottish Borders have to have some of the best motorcycle roads in the country, and they are absolutely steeped in history with the past feeling very close if you stop for a moment in some quiet place.
Well, I can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I’ve been too warm on a motorcycle so I’m sure the shearling lining will be welcome most days in the hills of Northumberland!
I’ve just bought this Aero Highwayman off the ‘Bay.
Apparently it’s about twenty years old but it looks pretty good to me other than a couple of wear spots in the lining.
I’ll be wearing it on my Harley and as I live in the north of England I’m planning on taking a ride up to the Aero workshop...
Thanks for your reply, I’ve done some more research and it looks as though this jacket is probably from the 90’s judging by the label.
It would have been from the time when Phoenix Distribution owned Belstaff but before the name was sold off again in 2004.
I vaguely remember seeing one of these...
Anyone know which model of Belstaff this is?
Looks to be a better made genuine motorcycle jacket as opposed to their modern “designer fashion” products.
I have recently bought this WW2 Irvin, just waiting for it to arrive in the post.
The jacket features an interesting label with incorrect chest and waist sizes for a size 3.
The label also has it’s reference number crossed out and the correct number pencilled in.
I have seen photographs of...
