Risky advice. Trying to push your foot thru can easily rip the strap holes.
Ofc if you've broken it in and it happens to slip in easily at that point do what you want, but as we've discussed every last is different.
Maybe it is just the pairs I've had, but so far it would have been impossible to do such a fold with the uppers on any of them.
The strap did somewhat hold them on the foot, you wouldn't want to try to take it off with it strapped because it would strain the belt hole. But it didn't cinch it...
Also random observation but I have never felt like the instep strap really cinches the boot down on any of the pairs I've had. The fit is more based on the last relative to your foot so don't expect to just crank it down with the strap if its too big.
I would be very wary of buying engineers you couldn't try on.
They are sensitive to fit.
I finally found a pair that's pretty comfortable for me, but I still prefer the feel of a snugly laced up boot.
This could definitely be one thread.
I am still not sure I understand your issue so I don't blame them.
The inner lining is moving when worn? Can you show a before and after?
has any noticed that second hand market seems to be dropping quite a bit? I'm seeing good condition vibergs occasionally sitting unsold for like 200-300$.
hard to say, I only have experience with my one fine creek. I remember one of the stitches in the shoulder swing panel being slightly loose, but other than that can't recall any issues with quality.
