Stetson Stetsonian, Extra Quality. Has 2 3/8 inch brim and 5 3/4 inch open crown. I think this is a 1920's hat if I can read the Lot Number correctly, which I think is something like 5X781. There's no tags in hat. Serial number on sweatband begins with the letter D. An Extra Quality hat was a...
Photos of the Five Points intersection in the heart of downtown Atlanta in 1950 showing the Wormser hat store on the left. Photo found on Facebook. This is the intersection of Peachtree St with Decatur St/Marietta St and Auburn Ave.
1930's Stetson Stetsonian Clear Nutria. See Stetson Nutria thread for complete photos. I accidentally posted this hat in the Waiting For thread thinking it was this thread.

Stetson Tom Mix Clear Nutria. Lot Number 5792. I think this dates mid to late 1920's. See full photos and description on Pre1940 Stetson Western thread.
Stetson Tom Mix Clear Nutria. 5 inch bound brim and 7 1/2 inch open crown. See complete photos on the Pre1940 Stetson Western thread. I think it dates mid to late 1920's.
Block Number 406 or 405. 7 1/2 inches. Stetson Tom Mix Clear Nutria, 1920's to 1930. I really think this is a 405 Block with 7 1/2 inch Depth, which would be a new block number, I think. I've seen a couple others including a hat Brent owned with the same Depth.
As badly as I wanted the Stetson hat box to go with my Tom Mix, (which was REAL bad), I would have had to bid $1800 to get the box and hope it didn't get bid up any more, so I had to give up trying.
Stetson authentic Tom Mix model Clear Nutria. Lot Number 5792. Has 5 inch bound brim and 7 1/2 inch open crown. The Lot Number makes me estimate this hat 1920's to 1930. The liner is sewn in as an original liner would be. If there's a reorder tag, it's buried behind the liner and heavy stitching...
