    Is this jacket defective?

Unrelated - but It's kind of funny, I picked up some factory first black Iron Rangers recently. They had tags saying they passed inspection - while having a major scratch directly visible on the upper LOL. So mistakes do happen on occasion, but it's all good if they sort you out after.

    Is this jacket defective?

Yeah I decided to exchange for the tighter 32. But that's ok - it justifies another 'winter' jacket down the road! I think it was a QC issue exacerbated by the jacket being a little big.

    Is this jacket defective?

@morrison2951 Is the red one the Model B? It looks fantastic! And custom. If I ever transcend past black jackets, that right there would be endgame.

    Is this jacket defective?

vanson would be the smart move yes, but man.. the 641/141's just do it for me. Clean 1 piece back, asymmetrical single chest pocket, not $1500 or 2K+ lol. If I ever have an opportunity to try a Comet/Model B in store somewhere I'll do it. They seem like great jackets at a great value.

    Is this jacket defective?

I'll send them an email on Monday then. I'm worried it may be an issue with the entire batch of the size 34's. Getting another 34... if the replacement ends up being a lemon too, that makes things awkward. Maybe the 32 is the way to go. Even though it's tough to zip. You guys think the naked...

    Is this jacket defective?

@TREEMAN The size 34 looked factory fresh, never worn. The hanger seemed positioned properly as well, when opening up the box. Didn't expect 1 size up to make such a difference. I mean - it's a size 34 jacket, i shouldn't be swimming in it lol.

    Is this jacket defective?

I do have a few shots of the 32. Though I sent it right back due to very broken in grainy sleeves, a few suspicious looking scratches etc. It looked like old stock, coupled with being tricky to zip at the hips - i exchanged for the larger 34. But I may have miscalculated.

    Is this jacket defective?

So this beauty showed up at my doorstep - Schott 141 in size 34. I could hardly zip the size 32, so the 34 SHOULD have been perfect right? Trying it on though - there's this noticeable creasing around the shoulder/chest area, on one side in particular. Other jackets I've tried haven't really...

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

@Mrfrown I think the 641's running a little longer on me than your guys' examples. Which for casual wear, unzipped, could still work. Rn I have room to layer, the fit seems slim/not too boxy, and there's the removable liner. Not a bad choice imo. @calvin006 Oh you got the horsehide one, very...

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

Overall, I'm more confident about this jacket today than I was a few days ago tbh. But it's always good to have options on the table. I'll try the smallest 141 they've got haha. And ask about the Caf1 too - entirely glossed over that one somehow. I'd definitely try the Board Racer but the...

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

@TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead Thanks for the insight man. Good to know tailoring is always an option. I'll try on a few 141s at the store, but as appealing as the 141 sounds, it might still wear me instead of the other way around! If only the 641xx existed around these parts. Or a 530 with a 1 piece...

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

@Aloysius Wow, that transformation is night and day. I can see the grain coming through! Does the horsehide ever soften up like the 141 might? @RedWolf Weird question - does your 641 have the lower map pocket? Strangely enough mine is missing it lol.

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

@Aloysius That's actually really good to know - my previous experience has been jackets kinda sagging/bagging out. The leather here definitely feels much more substantial than a worn in AllSaints jacket lol. It's not overbearing though. I'll try a 141 next week at the store for good measure...

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

@RedWolf Your jacket's giving me hope! Tbf those sleeve creases alone are reason enough to warrant me keeping mine. But yeah - you can tell the cardboard-y stiffness resolved itself gracefully.

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

I think they offer 34, but I suspect the sleeves may still be roomy. So if the shoulder seems fairly normal/correct now I may just keep this 36. But I've considered throwing a Schott 530 or Vanson into the mix. I like the 641 better, but as its been said - fit is king.

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

It'll be just a fashion jacket btw. I'd appreciate any advice, it's my first proper jacket so I'm pretty excited. But nervous!

    Schott 641 Fit Questions

Someone posted about the 641, figured I may as well too. This one's not broken in, still fresh off the rack. You guys think this looks ok? Too small, too long, wrong cut for me, etc. I'm 5'9 w/ 36 chest 28 waist ~135lbs. Pretty skinny. I ordered true to size, so 36. It feels well structured...
