My first time wearing a bow.....
Picked up two bow ties at Brooks Brothers yesterday and wore one today. Brown trews and Bluchers down below. I've gotten several compliments on the bow so far.
Well, Otello was cancelled. So, to console myself, I got tickets to La Traviata in Greensboro this November. No dinner jacket, though. Perhaps for La Boheme in January.
I'll echo LizzieMaine's sentiments; I have an Audiotronics classroom record player which plays 78s, 45s, 33 1/3rds, and 16s. Great sound, rugged, and it was $45.00 at a local antique shop.

Why not consider a patterned red bow tie? A nice pocket square that compliments the tie would be a nice touch as well. Perhaps some interesting socks? All of these things (and many more) can keep an ensemble from becoming bland.
