   Fedora Serial Number?

   I recently purchased a "Knox" Fedora. On the inside leather band is the "Knox" stamp and opposite it there is a "Browns High Grade Hats - Cleveland" stamp. What I'm really curious about is that underneath the leather band there is a paper tag which reads "K 23245 5233." Is this a serial number...
