I'm selling my size 40 ELC Star Sportswear. Wore it for a year in total, maybe a bit more, but flew a lot, so it got really nicely broken in with amazing grain. Only damage is 2 stitches that got undone, see pics. I would never part with it if I was 1-2 inches shorter, but no point keeping it...
Here's a fit pic that may help you. I'm 184 cm tall, 75 kg with a chest size of 39" wearing it with low/mid rise Levi's 511s. Wrinkles due to shipment in box, it was taken right after unboxing.
My "hybrid" Bronson B-10 is for sale, new with tags, unworn. It has the matching seamless olive knits of the new 2018 batch, but is still a tad darker thank the newest batch, and has a blonde collar.

Shoulder: 47 cm
Chest: 58.5 cm

If you go with the AVI I suggest the following: you order both sizes, shipping is free anyway. Then you can send back one for refund, and lose only the shipping fee. That way you'll be sure you picked the right one. This is what I did with my G-1m and I'm glad I did so.

I've seen people wear bigger ones in period photos, but I agree, it's on the baggy side definitely. Depends on what you're after. Mostly, the shoulders seem wide, but again, nothing that would look off in a period photo. Except for those strange creases, but perhaps that's just the picture. For...
Bi-swing back, much trimmer cut, different pockets, goatskin.
As for A-2s not being flattering, I'd beg to differ. They are just not good at making someone not so good looking seem to be in a better shape than he really is, unlike some other jacket styles. If you want to go trim, I can...
