I used to do a lot of business with beckenstein. They moved and current management is not one Id do business with. They are rude and very money minded, even for merchants. The so called 1940s suit in america is basically the garrick anderson look. You might want to save yourself the trouble though. A 1940s suit would have large sleeves, heavily padded shoulders a short jacket and wide lapels. The british drape style of the period is much nicer. You might try...- Film_Noir_Buff

U-571 Jacket?
U-571 jacket fan here. Interesting. I loved that jacket too. I had a replica made by sickafus sheepskins in PA with a different fur color (Snowcap vs. that golden fleece on the jacket in the movie.)
