1970 38R Peacoat Sleeve Length
Thanks for your reply. That's what I thought haha :( Is that normally possible? I'm pretty clueless as to what can be done with sleeves. Also, besides the sleeves, does the fit look okay? Was thinking of just doing sleeves if possible. Thanks!- Ramon5a

1970 38R Peacoat Sleeve Length
Hi! I purchased my first peacoat with the help of this forum :) It is a 1970 mint condition Kersey wool peacoat. I feel that the peacoat feels pretty well except for the sleeves :/ Could anyone give me some input about the sleeves? Are they passable or should I try to go to a tailor? Thanks!- Ramon5a

Questions About the United States Navy Peacoat
Hello everyone! This is my first post. I was looking into purchasing a Kersey Wool peacoat from the 1970s. My chest measurement is 37-38. I bought a 42L but it fit way too big and I'm looking now for a trimmer 38R. I found this one on ebay with P2P of 20.5" but couldn't find the exact same...- Ramon5a
