Russian Post of course is far from ideal (when compared, for example, with USPS), however, the loss of international parcels is rare, especially if there have tracking number. Especially EMS. During my life and long career in cargo aviation, we carried a lot of mail and saw how parcels are...

What car to go with your flight jackets?

I think the reason in vintage shapes of old cars. In those cars there was more individuality or soul... Although the soul probably is in every car, even modern and "faceless". I can't think differently, maybe it's just the imprint of the profession.

What car to go with your flight jackets?

It's not Chrysler special for sure. It's first generation PT, probably styled and tuned by it's owner.

What car to go with your flight jackets?

Thanks, my friend. Yes, this little car was a star here and was really eye catcher. But nothing stands still... I was younger, I had more time to take care of all these numerous chrome parts on it .... I had more time ... I was a member of local PT Club, we regularly met and even went on these...

A few years ago I owned tuned silver PT Cruiser with painted Douglas DC-3 airbrushing for half car. When I parked usually it to my airline parking, all old pilots/veterans turned they heads and said - look at this beauty , that's a decent car for pilot :). Sadly I sold it to my good friend 4...

    DC-3 / C-47

Li-2 was not based on PS-84. PS-84 = Li-2. Since 1942, it's began to call planes according to the new system approved by the USSR according to the first letters of the designer. In this case, Lisunov was the chief engineer of the plant and led this plane implementation. Production was started in...

    DC-3 / C-47

We lost Li-2 from the last photo in a catastrophe in 2004, it was the last flying Li-2 in Russia. It was a great loss of good friends and rare plane. Now there is the last and only one flying Li-2 in Hungary.

    Back to the 80's

Wow...I was dressed same way in the same time. I returned from military service in 1989 and it seemed that all the ways in the world were open.
