Super nice Type III - kinda reminds me of my Vanson Maverick in Brandy Roma leather although yours if far more luxurious looking with the premium hides and brass hardware. I'm jealous but will have to push on with life.- Mickiemac

To return or not to return?
As other posters noted, the fit is not in your favor regardless of the sleeve length. If you are set on a Type-III jacket, you might consider a Vanson Maverick in their Roma leather. Leather Down Jacket
