Thank you! I have a couple that the felts are amazing but just the sweats need some repairing or replacing. If it was a regular fedora I would do it myself but these are derbies/bowlers so I will leave it to the professionals. Are you referring to Mike the Hatter from Ohio? That is who I found... -

Can anyone tell me a bit more about this one? Got this one yesterday, the brim is straighter and a bit taller than the ones I have. Its very very stiff brim and crown. Only problem is the sweatband that is barely hanging on. Thanks!!! -

How hard is it for a hatter to sew in a new sweatband on a vintage? I have a few that could use it. Seems it would be tough due to the stiffness. -

How well do bowlers/derbies do in the rain? will they crack after too many times being soaked? wet, dry, wet, dry.. crack. of course I wouldn't put one next to heater to dry, but normal drying? Will mine get soft and floppy after? I always see em in the movies being rained on.. just wondering. -

You can never have too many :D Gotta have a variety for summer and fall, then you gotta have different ones to match wardrobe. Just buy more hat racks is what i do. Yes, when you find em in your size, get em.
