    Thanks. The price is nice, but I really want to wait to see a few more reviews of the Excellent Quality Strat before dropping the cash on a new hat. In the end, the stories of warped premiere brims after rain wear concern me.

    Does anyone have any experience with berkeleyhat.com? They currently have a Cornhill Premiere Strat on sale for a decent price. Given the quality control issues with this run of Strats (finishing, blocking issues with the Caribou run, etc), I didn't want to get a "good deal" on a seconds...

    Sounds like the sizing can be all over the map. I guess I'll just let Delmonico know when I place my order. My noggin is a solid 23 1/4" --- right between two sizes. Jlee562, gtdean48 and Thunderball: thanks for the info, guys!

    Sounds like I should err on the side of the larger of the two sizes and pad the liner if necessary. I'm right in between two sizes, and I don't mind padding an Akubra until it shrinks to fit, but when I'm dropping $350 on a hat, I want it to fit.

    Do the modern Stratoliners fit true to size? I wear a size 60 in the Akubra Campdraft and size 59 in the Sydney. Figured I'd order an Excellent Stratoliner in 7 1/2, but if they run large, I'll get a 7 3/8 instead. The new Strat is a damn fine looking hat!

    Unfortunately, the same happened to my order. The email from Hatsdirect actually was routed to my junk mail, and so for the last 24 hours, I've been living under the false assumption that the order went through without a problem. Now I may just wait to see if the Aussie dollar falls a bit...

    Did they contact you after you placed the order? I was just able to place an order for the Glen Gray CD on the hatsdirect site, but I suppose they may still cancel the order.
