The Little Yellow Cottages in Port Austin, Michigan have been around since at least the 1960s and are now completely and beautifully renovated with all mod cons. My family has been vacationing in this area since the late 1950s (before I was born!) My avatar is a photo of my mother in 1960 on the...
I've often thought that it would be nice to meet a man that enjoys vintage, antiques, and digging around at flea markets and thrift stores like I do... but then I realize that if he's collected as much stuff as I have, there's going to be a storage problem!
I know this is an old thread...
My son collects/restores/deals in Zippo lighters (no other brand). He has some info on the back of his business card that might be helpful:

Delicious, but soooo very sweet that I can only manage a little at a time... and I forgot it was in my cupboard.

On the front it states he is a Lt. but...
I just returned from a three-day stay in NYC with my two teenagers.
I originally wanted to stay in the Greenwich Village area but couldn't find something reasonably priced that could accommodate 3 people, but then again I scheduled everything for this trip only 3 weeks in advance. ALSO, how are...
