Unlike Red Wing Heritage boots, which for most folks requires a lengthy break-in time (horror stories galore of sore feet, blisters, discomfort, etc.), these Thorogoods were comfortable right out of the box.
Just got a pair of 8” Thorogood moc toe boots (814-4201). I hope my Red Wing boots don’t get jealous!

For quite some time these have been my “holy grail boots” — vintage tan suede western work boots with a lugged sole. Found a pair in my size on eBay, and they arrived yesterday! It was hard getting my heels down into the boots, but once I did, wow! They’re so comfy and soft! The auction said...
Cool socks, but those are boot socks with colored tops and the Tony Lama logo. ;)
Does Tony Lama still make socks by the way? I've never seen any in any western store.
