1940-42 Wareings Irvine for sale
I am selling an Irvin made by Wareings of Northampton, dating from 1940-42.The main zip is a replacement Swift with a Lightning puller. The original owner was Walter King who was a flight engineer on Halifaxes in 431 Squadron, then 405 Squadron in Lancasters as part of 8th Pathfinder group...- Ian C

Replacing a 1968 pattern MA1 knits
Hiya all, Thanks for your help and advice. There's no way I'd attempt this myself and I've managed to secure some knits. I've also got a friend who makes shirts etc but I wanted to get as much background as possible first as I wanted to know if there were any pitfalls. I'll let you know how...- Ian C

Your opinion of Hugo Boss jackets?
I'm glad someone has mentioned this as no-one belives me when I tell them. Probably it's because they never use it in their advertising unlike the Savile Row Tailors (Henry Poole I think) who use Winston Churchill to advertise their work.- Ian C
