What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Agreed. I just bought my first champ featherweight around the same time. I like that one a lot as well. I live in Central Florida, where the lighter hats are actually probably the ones I’ll wear the most now.

Hey Rick, I’ve got an Adam hat that looks little like yours. Anything you could tell me about it would be much appreciated. I’ve owned it for about six months.

I’m hoping that’s the case. There is a blocking tag that’s mostly obscured by the liner. maybe that will hold some clue as to when it was made? I need to pull the liner off to straighten it up anyway. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I got it on eBay for a ridiculously low price so I took a chance on it.

Thanks a lot for the article, The business card and the advertisement. Do you happen to own a hat by Bill Taylor?

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

This hat was made by Bill Taylor hat manufacturing company in Cleveland. It’s very well made. My best guess is it’s probably from the 50s. I’ve never heard of this company and I don’t seem to be able to find much out on the Internet. Anybody know anything about Bill Taylor?

Thanks, Bill. I think Art worked really hard on this one. I wanted to show his work.

Art did this incredible job restoring this Late '30's/Early '40's Dobbs Fedora. My new favorite winter hat. Thank You, Art!

Thanks again. Some interesting stuff on the hat maker. I can't find any pictures of a similar hat or label so its hard to guess a date. It's definitely pre-'50's though.

Thanks. I'm considering myself lucky on this one. It's hard to find vintage hats at these markets nowdays. I'm cursed with a large head, so it's really tough! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The only one that I could find was a scrape that said"7 1/2. I'll post a picture of it when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
