    Visited my favorite historic aircraft, the B-29 “Enola Gay” at the National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA (the whole museum is amazing!). Wearing a MilSpec G-1, tho maybe I should have worn an A-2 or at least a B-10/B-15 :)

    I’m a licensed ship captain and this is one of my “work” jackets: early 1980’s vintage Avirex G-1 with the nicest, grainiest goatskin imaginable! Added an Acme Thunderer whistle and an anchor shaped zip puller. Anchors aweigh!

    Five Star made a B-15D for me that was simply incredible. They produced the 1950’s silver-sage color material perfectly. I highly recommend them for their textile jackets (I also have a Navy 37J1, a B-10 and a B-15; all of them excellent reproductions).
