Slightly off topic, but wearing my fedora with wet hair won't harm the inside, will it?
(Pardon my ignorance. I'm on my second fedora in the last few years and want to know some care tips before developing bad habits.)

What if it's a stiff felt fedora with a short brim?
I understand that handling the crown, over years and years time, might create a crack, but what's to prevent the brim from getting damaged over the years?
