Bought a new leather jacket but its cut in a couple places. Should I return it or just accept its gonna see far worse eventually?
Thanks folks. Do you think they will comp the return label? I went ahead and reordered cause I’d rather not wait for the free exchange. Plus I’d love to wear my new jacket at an upcoming Gang of Four Concert I’m going to in about a week.- djdrawsdaily

Yeah, they are definitely cuts. If you fold the leather along it you can see it widen. They aren’t super deep but also something id rather not see on a brand new jacket. Thanks for the reassurance I thought I was just being a little too rigid in thinking it shouldnt be there. I understand scuffs...- djdrawsdaily

After some consulting with you fine folks I bought a new Schott 613sh and it arrived today. The fit is near perfect but there are a couple of cuts in the leather one is just below surface the other a little deeper. Should I chance returning it or just accept that it will probably see worse down...- djdrawsdaily

So, I’m in the market for a leather jacket and am woefully ignorant of everyone’s offerings but have a basic direction and a few options so far. I love the look of the old Schotts and have been eyeing the 613sh but kind of wish it had the branded buttons of the 618. The plain nickel just doesn’t...- djdrawsdaily
