Well, I got some Wing Tips.
Not really the classy dress type that all you probably where, but take a look. On ebay it said that they are brand new and have never been worn. They are Doc Marten's and i got them for $49.
Yeah those soles sound good. I'm not really picky with the soles. I do like the Doc Marten's that don't have the clunky soles. I do want some outlandish colors though.

I think you did a good job on the hat. Is the crowned tapered though, I thought the OR were not tapered? What is raking exactly? Is that how deep the crown is bashed?
I was also talking to Art about making my first hat and talking to Fedoralover who has helped me find what I am looking for. I feel that posting a bunch is not right for me, because I'm spending most of my time learning about hats. Not necessarily "shy". I think my speaking should be better...
Trying to figure things out here. This may sound stupid, but I was thinking that since a beaver lives in a river that maybe its fur is more resilient to water? Also, I was wondering if it is softer and more durable than other furs and wool?
