Too Small?? Too big? Just right? or How to wear a hat!
Man Up Your hat should sit on your head where, in your opinion, it is most comfortable and looks the best. Unless this results in problems with hearing, vision, breathing, or eating and drinking, it should be fine. -

That's a very good question. After perusing the bencrafthats website, I'm also curious regarding the lack of a niche for a Cervo (or other) hat brand between Borsalino and Stetson. I may be wrong but it appears to me that there is a $50-60 gap between their most expensive Stetson dress hat... -

Does My Vintage Royal Stetson Have a Two Tone Brim?
I'd say that Art's explanation is spot on. A hat stored inverted in a box with no lid, for any appreciable length of time, would certainly exhibit these characteristics. The fact that you removed a lot of the color on the underbrim with an orange sponge and a brush supports this explanation. -

Dman, This has come up in at least one other discussion. Is it your belief/understanding that a Stetson 100 was 100% beaver felt regardless of whether it was designated as "Clear Beaver" on the sweatband and crown? -
