As the title suggests I am looking to buy a Buzz Rickson 37j1b jacket as pictured.
Size required is 38 or 40.
I have seen one on eBay but it’s to large.

The chest size is normally listed and labelled as 38 or 40 or 42 or 44 etc etc
Pit to pit sizes are normally shown as 20 inches - 21.5 inches - 23 inches etc etc or such like.
This is a truly beautiful coat with a wonderful history. You couldn't even get a new coat from J. Crew for this price... so it really is a bargain!

An interesting comparison to the cost of the jackets back then of $8.25 is the cost of A-11 watches.
On the WW2 contracts the Army was paying approximately $14.00 each for the Type A-11 watch. ( Bulova and Elgin and Waltham. )
