I've had a Panama on order from Bob for more than two months now and haven't received it. He posted in another thread that I read a week or so ago that he was having some trouble due to bad weather in Ecuador and due to some dificulties with competition there. I hope to see my hat before much... -

First hat?
I found a good hat size measuring device at www.panamahatsdirect.com. Check out the hat sizing page and print the pdf file there. Be sure and follow the directions there for correct printing. -
PanamaBob & Gus Miller Montecristi Optimo
Nice hat! I'm waiting for my first Panama Bob hat to arrive. It's been more than four weeks, and I check the front door for a box every day. Bob's web site says don't order if you can't wait, but guess it's ok to order if you can hardly wait, which is what I did and I can...hardly wait, this is. :) -

Here's another place...www.panamahatsdirect.com. I haven't bought one from here, but I have seen this site recommended in the lounge. Actually, I have one of Panama Bob's hats ordered and am expecting it any day now. -

Optimo hats... I am curious about Optimo hats. I have read about them several times here at the lounge, but I haven't seen them come up in any of my searches for fedoras. Can anyone direct me to a website that sells them? Thanks, Bob. -

My new Akubra Stylemaster in Acorn Fawn
I did it! I ordered my first Akubra just a few minutes ago! I ordered a moonstone gray Stylemaster from everythingaustralian.com and requested it with a black ribbon. I had seen one on another thread here and especially liked it wth a black ribbon. Now all I have to do is wait three months for it. -

Akubra Stylemaster "Bluegrass Green"
Thank you, Benny, for the picture. I saw the moonstone gray in another thread and it appears to be a little lighter that your mid gray....not very much though. You must really like the Stylemaster, and I must say you do look good in them. The mid gray may be what I'm after. Again, thanks. Bob
