    I would suggest getting flat barettes or using curler clips. or Position the flower first on your head to see the angle at which it needs to hit your head. Then glue it on the barrette at the same angle.

    It's important to position the flower, off the clip, on your head first - see at exactly which angle you want the flower to sit on your head, and then glue accordingly.
