i just posted this in another thread...but i kind of like how it turned out on the screen...
one of a zillion ideas i've had for my graphic novel concept. i don't do color...so...
i like the summery, carefree feel of it. :)
haha. if i was actually thin AND crafty at the same time?...i'd make these. these are both just a few sketches i'm playing with for a graphic novel concept. i came up with these frocks off the top of my head, so they may not be "period."
the evening gown! it HAS to be a 30's inspired gown...
psht. that happened to me before in russia. :(
oooh, yes i saw all the videos and i have spent hours in the past comparing singers. lol didn't have a chance via the link...but i think that i shall. hehe.
according to myheritage.com, based on this photo:
i look like lana turner. mmm...OKAY. whatever you say, internets.
in real life, people have compared me to rose o'donnell. not because i actually look like her though...i think it's just the first fat celebrity they can think of. lol
 haha. somehow i KNEW that would come up. that WAS my favorite part of the movie, though. i used to (and still do) wish that i was right there with jack. lol only not dead or absorbed by a haunted hotel or anything...
hey there! it just occured to me that i've neglected to follow up on the docs i scanned. lol
those of you who were willing to help...any luck? the old script gives me a headache, so if it's not possible, no worries. :D
this morning i was standing at my bus stop. it was gray and overcast and chilly...perfect weather. i called up my 1920's/30's playlist on my iPod and Ray Noble was the first to pop up. i had downloaded a ton of songs he did with the singer Al Bowlly. i'm sure you all have heard that combo...

josehpine, i think you're hair turned out beautifully! i love it. with the dress and the lipstick, everything turned out lovely. wish i had lovely cascading locks like yours! lol
shawn of the dead actually kind of creeped me out. [huh] lol
ghostie/paranormal movies are my favorites, though. if they're good they can scare me. the others was fantastic.
yeah, okay...so this movie was on TV last night, so i turned it on just for a peek. [huh] it didn't catch my interest, so it was back to my book for me. :D
and fleur...you were right!! the dread pirate roberts was nowhere to be seen...which is such a shame because elwes is one of those actors...
i love scary movies, and i don't mind a little violence in a movie when it's part of the story (see 'resevoir dogs'...but i like tarantino...so...yeah). if that's the case with 'saw' then...okay, i guess. [huh]
dismemberment is the one thing i find disturbing rather than scary and shouldn't be...
ooh, very cool. i had a mad crush on sean patrick flannery (the older Indy) and taped almost ALL of his episodes...and a couple of the younger Indy ones, even though i thought he was a crap kid actor. [huh] all of the stories were highly unlikely, but very entertaining. i can't beleive that they...
