Wash a hat?
I washed a couple of used fur felt Akubras that I won on eBay. Both arrived filthy with dust. I would slap them and a cloud would form is how dusty they were. Hey Daoud .. check out the villagehatshop.com and look for the "Iconoclast" style fur felt Fedora. It is a good alternative to the official Indy hats that sell for a lower price and is far superior in quality. I purchased one last year for under $80.U.S not including shipping. Cheers- Akubra Man

The idea that hats keep you cooler...
I am with you on this. I wear panamas and the other odd straw during summer. But come September when the weather changes I am back to my fur felts and wear them right into June when the weather really goes back to hot again. As much as I love summer I do miss my felt hats.- Akubra Man
