I started wearing snap-bill newsboy type hats in high school back in the '70's and continue to wear them today. However, I wanted to have a more 'dressy' look, so a couple of years ago started to wear fedora styles. Also, as I've gotten older, and the noggin has gotten less full of hair, and...
I stand corrected! Cellar does not carry Peychaud's bitters! But they do carry a line of boutique, small batch bitters. I can't recall the name right now, but they are on shelves behind the counter.

Nope, not related, in fact, some of my friends would argue that the R stands for "Really Cheap!" I'm always looking for a deal, and the Russell's Reserve is a very good deal.

Mike, I'm pretty sure Cellar carries the Peychaud bitters, I know they carry Angostura bitters. Also, if you will be in Wichita, be sure to check out Goebel Liquors, especially if you like beer, they have a great beer selection. Tell Rob that Bob in OKC sent ya!

During a recent visit to the liquor store I was pleasantly surprised to see that Templeton Rye is now available in Oklahoma! Picked up a bottle for about $37. My previous purchases of this pre-pro rye were either online or during visits to other states and the price was more like $54!

Last week while perusing the shelves of a local discount store, I spotted a Stetson hat box and made a bee-line for it. Inside was a new 4X Open Road silver belly, size 7 1/8. Bought it for 80% off the retail price and now need to see if I can have it sized to fit my 7 3/8 head!

I'm an Islay fan too, with Laphroaig being my favorite. Got to sample some Laphroaig 40 yr a few months ago, and I'm spoiled! Also like Lagavulin and Talisker. Received a bottle of Glenmorangie for Christmas, so that is what I've been sipping lately. OH! And for a delicate, fruity single...
Ryes currently in my liquor cabinet: Sazerac, Rittenhouse, Templeton, High West and Bulleit. Sazerac is my benchmark, but Rittenhouse is my "go to" rye, mostly because of price, but I also like the spice and vanilla I get from it.

Last weekend at an estate sale I found a hat just like this one! Same fawn color and whip-stitching. In excellent condition. It was marked Wormser and on the band was imprinted "Gay Cavalier" not "Gay Prince." A knock-off of the Gay Prince? Anyone know anything about Wormser? Unfortunately...
