    I do actually - or rather my mother does, she has all the letters he wrote home to my grandmother and his family. I also have all the photos he took with the camera.

    Hats (any brimmed type) will keep the sun out of my eyes but do little for road glare. Also my eyes are pretty sensitive to bright light so I wear shades as a comfort item.

    You can get moleskin at your local pharmacy. this along with some bandaids or other wound covering can be used to cover the open blister you have. The Moleskin reduces friction so that the wound can heal and will allow you to wear the shoes. I have fitted climbing boots at the US Army Mountain...

    When my grandmother passed 5 years ago, we tossed a number of these (my grandfathers) away. Even in person they looked odd. Most of his also had earflaps that were tucked into the hat. I should have kept them, but I guess hind sight is always 20/20

    You know I was thinking the same exact thing for New England. It would be fun to get together with others with similar intrests. I am more than happy to start a "chapter" if a club or organization gets going. I'll be following this thread closely!
