Question about shrink to fit 501s
If they're a little snug to begin with they'll loosen with wear anyway. There's a lot of stretch in denim.- ManofKent

They take a bit of breaking in, but the leather Tricker's use is superb. I think they're probably the best English manufacturer for country brogues.- ManofKent

The Cap Faction

I want a real sweater.
I've been happy enough with an Outdoor Knitwear Submariner - they're quite large for the labelled size (not just long, but large all over) and I was disappointed to find the colour was much more of a yellowy cream, than the off-white colour the photos suggest, but it's warm and well made. Leather Conditioners
I'm in the UK, and for pretty much any leather wear I use Lord Sheraton's Leather Balsam (white cream in small jar) - works well on footwear, bags etc. can't see why it won't work on hat bands. -
