    These are all good suggestions. One caveat however, if you do use muslin, don't get it wet or your pattern will shrink! (I don't want to talk about that disaster).:rage: I may have to use tracing paper or non-woven interfacing in the future.

    Betty Check out the Viking Designer machines, they are really nice. I am not so impressed with the Singer ones, but Brother makes a good one too, I think. The designer has vinyl and leather settings-- which is great, it goes through just about anything that I have thrown at it.
