Weird I know but I like this picture the best. For many years, although I have been out of it for 20. I did a lot of civil war reenacting. This was a picture taken at Gettysburg in 1996. how many years can a forum last? will you still be a active member in 10 - 15 years?

I got the walnut becuse I needed a lighter color shoe. But the cordovan will be my next purchase. Just have to decide if I want a full wingtip or another Strand- sal

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I went to the store today and ordered two different pairs. I can't belive how well they felt when I put them on my feet. I ordered the Kiowa and the Strand in walnut. No I just have to wain until they arrive- sal

Thank you all for your input After calling 7 tailors, even finding a tailor is hard in my area. I finally found a gentleman that will take a look at the jacket. He sounds like he is 90 years old on the phone. I hope to have time to take it in this saturday. He hasn't said he will do it...- sal
