    Correct. it would be an easy fix if i could find the chains. I asked Vanson but they said I had to send it in for repairs. Other than the concho holes, this thing is in great shape. Bullet proof.

    It's actually looking like I wont be able to find an exact replacement. It's those chain zips similar to what Schott uses. Cant find an exact match online. Unless anyone else knows where i can find something similar.

    To be fair, I am unsure why everyone is always ripping on them for copying Lewis. That has always gone on. Kett, Belstaff, etc all had jackets similar to Lightning. Love those Brit leathers. Wish I could pull that look off but I'm an all American Schott boy.

    My buddy got a Leather Monkeys lightning ripoff from Ebay and he is absolutely over the moon about the fit and the leather itself (he is a lanky lad and has a hard time finding jackets with long enough arms). I have not seen it in person yet so I cannot judge for myself. I'm happy for him...

    that is sound advice. Here is my dilema. Since this is just my fifth sale on Ebay, paypal wont give me my damn funds until they get confirmation of delivery. If i send it overseas, theres more chance of it never getting there (slim chance but its there), and I have to pay more for shipping up...
