Hmmm.
Given that I tend to have a longish trunk (i'm 74.5 in. tall, but I only have a 34 in. inseam) maybe I should reconsider the short jacket. :eusa_doh:

Hello-
I’ve always liked the idea of a really short utility jacket, but I’m not sure what I’m gaining/losing. Here's an example:

Would I have to have really long legs to make it work? Would my shirt always be showing? Would the wind blow...

I was surfing for nice Aero utility pics when I found this.

IMO, they should stick to the 30's - 50's ;)
This is more to my liking:

Hello-
I remember the days when I was always trying to put on weight!
I don't know about the Aero skinny half belt, but I've owned others and they worked fine 'one size up'. I have an overcoat that's two sizes up and it does look funky without a heavy sweater. As for the timing, I would...
Hello-
I have a bootlegger and I really like it. I just sold a Cossack to fund a highwayman I'm going to order next week. If your still undecided, I really like the Route 66 http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/webapp/aeroleather/servlet/AeroViewPage?page=displayproduct&subcatid=38&prodid=1713...

The fastest way to break in a jacket is to 'wear it wet.' Some people sponge on very warm water. I prefer to wear my jackets in a drizzle. Please note, however, that you can over do it. I've heard jacket linings shrinking when the got too wet.

Hello-
Here are a few comments. Most will agree on some points. Others will want to saw off my head and send a video of the event to my mom.
The good:
Attention to detail (stiching is the correct color and material - even if another material would be more durable.)
Very nice...
Hello-
We forget that soldiers lived in their flight jackets. When I wear a leather jacket, I wear it from the house to the car, where I place it on a hanger, I spend 45 min in the car driving to work, where I wear it into the building, and then I place it on a hanger again... If I wore my...
Hello-
Before I give the Aero rep a call, I'm wondering if any forum members have a Aero Highwayman they want to sell. I wear a 44 and will need one with an inch or so added to the sleeves.
Thanks.

Hello-
I'm selling my black FQHH Aero Cossack. It's listed as a 44 long but fits more like a 42 long. If you're interested, PM me for more info. The listing number is 270031692021.
Thanks.

Speaking of grain, right about the time I bought my FQHH Cossack, Aero came out with a very grainy FQHH.

I think they call it "Vintage Black" now. Does anyone have any experience with it? I seem...
Hello-
IMO, leather all by itself doesn't offer that much warmth. I personally prefer a jacket with a light lining. I live near San Francisco and the winter temps range from the 60's down to the 30's. Most of the time I wear a leather jacket with a minimal lining. If I'm watching a ball...

I have an Aero jacket I'm thinking of selling (and yes, I'm going to use the funds to by another Aero :) ) I'm wondering if the market value of the jacket will increase by much if I wait 'til November to sell it.
Thanks for your comments.

BTW, it is a black Cossack in...
