I am a believer of wet cleaning. Soak flat in tub w warm water & shampoo for 30 minutes. Brush the collar and sleeve ends with soft brush. Press with bear foot while it’s staying flat. Rinse w shower. Apply conditioner and rinse again. Soak in fresh water for another 30 minutes. Laying flat on...
I got a seemingly 1972 Naval Pea coat with Melton wool. The fabric feels dry and not as soft as the modern Melton wool blend , such as Kelvin Cl. Is that normal for the 70s pea coat ? Or l just got an odd one?
kersey wool : heavy n dense , better wind n water resistance. But more stiff n rigid. Melton wool: soft n drape better . But less wind resistant. Comfy make it the modern choice
